In 2024, Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Program) will conduct safety tests for heavy-duty commercial vehicles for the first time, with a special focus on the "fleet" segment of the market. In the first batch of tests, Volvo Trucks' FH Aero and FM models stood out as the only truck products to receive the highest five-star safety rating.

About Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Program)
Euro NCAP, also known as the European New Car Assessment Program, is headquartered in Belgium and was established in 1996. Since then, it has quickly become the industry standard for assessing passenger car safety in Europe. At present, the institution has received support and recognition from multiple European governments, including the European Union.
In truck safety testing, each safety system will receive independent scores based on its actual performance, and the scores in these sub areas will be classified and summarized according to strict standards. Finally, by comprehensively calculating scores in various fields, the star rating of the entire vehicle is obtained, with a rating range of one to five stars.
